Infertility surgery at emBIO Medical Centre in Greece
The first time I was informed that I had endometriosis, I had not grasped the amount of physical and emotional hardship I was to endure in the future to come. The pains experienced during my period or during intercourse were excruciating. I was diagnosed with an endometrial cyst (chocolate cyst) in my left ovary yet none of my previous doctors had suggested a laparoscopy. Therefore, I had undergone two unsuccessful IVFs in my efforts to have a baby.
Dr Paraschos explained that my problem could be solved by performing a laparoscopy during which the cyst would be removed while simultaneously all the adhesions would be resolved and never did he doubt how much better I would be. Meanwhile, I was also diagnosed with hydrosalpum which I was advised to have it removed while Dr Paraschos was against this. The operation performed by the doctor and his team was a life changer for me. The surgery went smoothly and all the pains I suffered before, disappeared. I felt so much better and my psychology was improved to such a degree that I once again had hopes of having a baby. As we speak, I'm 6 months pregnant with my first child without even having to go through another IVF. I thank Dr Paraschos and his team from the bottom of my heart for their immaculate professionalism, consistency and responsibility.
