"I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32 years old while at the same time I had my wedding booked and plans to start a family. We had to postpone everything since treatment was our first and main concern and had priority over anything else. I had to start chemotherapy and was warned that it may have an impact on my fertility, something that brought me a lot of grief at the time. I was faced with a lot of very serious decisions regarding my cancer treatment and knew that any kind of family planning would have to be put aside.
