How soon can you start your IVF with semen or egg donation?

There is no waiting list for egg donation or semen donation at EmBIO. You can easily make a quick appointment with Dr Paraschos.

• Treatment you need (Egg Donation / Sperm Donation, or other)

• Your brief medical record:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Ethnic Group (both yours and your mate’s)
  • Any Past Surgeries
  • Any Major Diseases (e.g. diabetes, hypertension)
  • Smoking
  • Previous Fertility Treatments
  • Blood Group and Rh

   

• Preferred date for your appointment (e.g. 2 June 2012; or “between July 22 and September 25”)

Can you choose your Egg Donor?

Yes. You can choose your Sperm or Egg Donor among a list of approximately 120 available, based of their medical and personal profiles and recommendations from our Donor IVF team.

What if there’s also a male infertility problem?

In case of a male factor existing, donor egg IVF with ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection into the eggs) is also available at EmBIO. In fact, at EmBIO you can have any kind of infertility treatment on site.

Can I start the donor egg program in the UK?

Yes. You can first see your gynecologist/obstetrician. Then you can easily arrange for a one-day stay at EmBIO, Athens. After your fertility treatment in Greece, we will be monitoring your progress in pregnancy through ultrasound scans transmitted in strict confidentiality by your doctor.
